Letchworth Schools Thinking
Arts Project
The network of schools have
developed the capacity for teaching and learning
through the arts to be self-sustaining. Teachers are
so skilled that a change of staff does not effect
continuity and there are sufficient resources like
the DVDs to support their induction of new staff.
Heads have commented on the development of a more
collegiate attitude between the schools that have
taken part and see this as continuing in cooperation
in other areas of development. As one head
commented:
“It comes naturally now; we
know we can draw on expertise from across the
network”
